I get the error message 'Unable to establish a connection.  I use AOL (America Online).
From the main menu select Options, Options and uncheck the item 'Use a dial up connection'.

I have a permanent net connection but WebStripper tries to use dial up networking.
At the main window go to Options:options and uncheck the item use a dial up connection.  See also the next question.

When I click on a link I get asked if I want to open an internet connection.  How do I stop this?
This is called dial protection.  You can change the settings by openning Options|options and going to the general page.
