Q. Have you set the proxy server?

A. If you net connection requires a proxy server you need to use the menu item Options|Options and enter your proxy server settings.

AOL ?

A. WebStripper occasionally has problems with AOL connections. I haven't yet found the cause of the problems. A couple of things worth trying are a) That you are running the latest version of the AOL software and b) in WebStripper go to Options, Options and uncheck the item 'Use a dial up connection'.
